What are the ways to grow your money on Hive?

Posting

Of course, everybody knows this, but would you believe that there are a lot of people who don't even get 1 vote on their posts? Yes! I've seen so many posts that no one has voted on until they reached the maturity date. Sad, right? Okay, I'm not saying I'm getting many votes, I also get a few, but at least not zero.

So, if you're not getting votes, you're not getting any money, and soon you will get tired and be discouraged to write.

You see, there are factors to consider before writing a post. So, what are those factors?

Platform

You must know which platform to use. I have noticed that I get less votes from my followers when I post on other platforms aside from PeakD and LeoFinance. I don't know why, and I didn't bother to know the reason. If you know the answer, please tell me. Because of this, I only write using PeakD and Leo Finance.

I have also discovered that some posts on other platforms don't appear on all platforms. I don't know if you have noticed this. I won't mention the platform, but when I looked at my profile there, not all of my posts are there. The only posts that you can see are the ones that I think follow the niche of that platform.

I also noticed that in some platforms, no matter how you use hashtags, your posts don't seem to have many impressions, unlike in Peakd where if you use a good hashtag, many people can view your post.

Community

This is also very important. There are many communities on Hive, and there are many factors in picking a community where you will write your post. I've noticed that some communities, no matter how good your post is, will not curate you like they curate others. By others, I mean those users that have delegated HP to them.

There are also communities that are like a gang, that only those who kiss ass can get a good vote. So far, the most neutral communities that I have seen are Splinterlands and LeoFinance. They don't care how much of their token is in your wallet, if your post is good, they will curate it.

Another communities that I think is neutral is photo communities and Drawing communities. If only I had a camera, I would have already joined, but then again, I like writing more than taking pictures, and I don't go out that much. Hehehe.

Also consider the number of active members in a community because they are the ones who will be voting on your post.

Hashtags

The normal use of hashtags should be based on your topic, but in Hive blogging, that is not the case. That's why many posts are not discovered by curators because their hashtags are not the ones curators are following. Don't use your Instagram and Twitter hashtags on Hive, most of them will not make sense. Search for hashtags that are trending.

Post Content and Styling

Yes, most of us here, especially those who have spent years on Hive, already have regular followers who will not care how their posts look like. In short, they are already fans. But as for me, who only has a few followers, I have noticed that people really read my posts until the end because first, they comment, and they know what I wrote in my post.

Make sure the content of your post is worth reading and not just some random stories that you want to tell. At least put an moral lesson in it or whatever values you can insert into it. If the topic is too general and there is no space for lessons, at least make it look good. Add some style to it, change font colors and designs, change the layout by using the pull code. By doing this, the chance of people following you is higher.

Curation

To earn from curation, don't just curate any post that you see on your following feed. First, check the user if they regularly post, then follow them so that they will show in your news feed. Also, check how much they get from their posts. Actually, I also check if there is a regular high vote that they get every time they post, and I avoid those users because my voting power is only small.

You know those small-value coins in your Hive Engine? Some of them can be used for curation, so aside from earning HP from your votes, you can also earn other coins. To check if they can be used for curation, go to the explorer and type the name of the token. The records will show you if they can be used for curation, it will say curation reward. (Guys, correct me if I'm wrong here.)

Delegation

This is if you're too lazy to curate or don't know how to use Hive Voter. There are a lot of curators that pay you a small percentage of the money they get from curation if you delegate to them.

Here are some of the curators where you can delegate your HP

Affiliate and Referral Links

We all know that we can earn from affiliate and referral links, and your post on Hive is one of the best places to put your affiliate and referral links.

Okay, that's all I know. If you have more tips, please don't hesitate to comment in the comment section.
