I would agree.
The internet, social media, television and such technologies is no substitute for lazy parenting. There are clear studies showing children are most vulnerable and not able to discern what they take in. The result is startling.
It is the obligation of parents to provide structured learning, teach discernment, demonstrate and practice proper social skills, value discipline and patience, demonstrate and practice spiritual values, and so on. There are no short cuts around raising children, I can easily spend more than half my life time to make sure our children grow up to be a rational, responsible adults as well as a contributing members of our communities.

You are abosolutely right dear. In fact, these days parents are also addicted to smartphones. Children just copy them. This is the problem.
