When couples are fighting

It's said that whenever a couple or lovers in a relationship are fighting or having a quarrel, it's advisable not to interfere; otherwise, you'll be used as a subject of discussion during the enjoyment section in the bedroom when they settle.

I've been living with this culture, and it's been helpful. Whenever I see people in relationships fighting, I stay off, get my camera, position myself on the window like a sniper, and cover the event with my sharp camera.
Meanwhile, I feel ashamed of ladies being beaten in mere relationships that are not leading to any marriages; that's why I don't seize the opportunity to capture the event and use it to entertain myself whenever I feel like laughing.

It was around 3:00 p.m. yesterday when I decided to walk home to have my lunch. I didn't eat before going out, so I was badly hungry. The breeze almost swept off my feet when I was walking home.

Getting to my compound, I heard a loud cry of a lady from the neighbouring compound that's just a throw away. Although ladies are prone to such cries and shouts which I could have ignored but the sound that was oozing out from the neighbouring compound was scary. So I decided to go have a look, but meanwhile, the elderly man in our compound was sitting down in the compound looking unconcerned, which is very unlikely of him.

"Sir, what's happening there?" I inquired from him and first of all cleared his throat before he replied, "It's a husband and wife issue; they're fighting".

"Haaaa! In this hot weather!" I exclaimed and remained on the spot, calculating whether to go or just enter my house and eat food. Then my instincts began to fight;

"Guy, just go and relax and get food to eat." The first thought was just all I needed, and I was about to obey when the compassionate side of me countered the first idea, "Does it make sense to watch good neighbours fight and not go and separate them?"

The second thought won my heart, especially with the fact that the husband is a very calm person, just like me. I took the bold step and moved closer to the place where the battle was happening with the mindset of taming the fire and getting peace at last.
On getting there, the woman's muscles have already 'sprouted' out, with sweat soaked all over her body as if she's in the Royal Rumble Ring. To match it all, she was in her fighting kits (a jean knicker and a thick polo). Hefty guys in our street were tightly holding her in order not to go and fight the husband.

The sight alone scared me. I have a very slim body, and with the way the woman was vibrating, she'd just fling me away if I tried to hold her.
I had to apply wisdom by going to the side of the husband, who was still calm even in the midst of her wife's shout.
I began to beg him to leave the scene, and before I knew it, I heard sounds of someone running behind plus a vibration of the ground. I immediately, I turned to check; it was the woman; she had loosened herself from the hands of the guys holding her. I had to dive away immediately, and the woman rushed the husband and began to punch him radically.

Gosh! If I hadn't jumped off the spot, only God would know what would have happened to me.

I became very angry at the two of them. The woman was not ready to stop her madness, and the husband was still there, behaving like a woman, because it's only women that stand to stage banter with another woman.

"Okay, since you guys like to fight, oya fight till you're tired!" I poured out my anger and left the scene.

I expected my words to reset their minds and stop fighting, but no way. The tempo increased, and guys with six packs rushed in to keep separating them.

Today's morning

I came out around 8:00 a.m. to hang clothes I washed. The rope hanger was located close to their shop, and when I got closer to the place, I met the two of them doing their things like nothing happened yesterday.

"Kingsleyy, good morning, ooo!" The woman greeted me from her stand, and I replied, expecting her to apologise for how she almost flung me off yesterday, but nope, nothing came out of her mouth.
