The Cheer Of Kids Celebrating Indonesian Independence

People in Indonesia will express their happiness celebrating the independence day by playing some games. Fun games are held to attract more children to participate. Almost all communities celebrate the independence day on August 17.

There are some fun games like eating crisps, dancing, ball games, rope games and some traditional games. Children will get the reward to participate the games whatever they win or not.

These are some of the photos of eating hung "krupuk" ( a crisp made from tapioca starch). Each kid should eat up a krupuk which is hung on a rope. One who eats up first, he will win the game.

Parents will motivate the kids to join the games. The games will be a socialization media for kids to know a competition. Not all kids are brave enough to participate a compitition. With fun games, all kids are encourage to test their skills and bravery performing in front of public. That is a good education media.

Parents in a community will raise fund to the event. They will give some money to buy snacks and prizes for the kids. To prepare the event, the youth organization will be responsible for the competition. Indonesian independence day is one of memorized events for every citizen in Indonesia.
