Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Ltlle League Ruleset - Obsidian Vs Obsidian
The ruleset for this week's Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge is Little League.

Little League Ruleset: In this ruleset, you can only use Summoners and Monsters with 4 or fewer mana.
Due to this ruleset, I always rent monsters that do not exceed 4 mana. I make sure to have a tank, sniper, magic attack, and range attack ready because sometimes additional rulesets appear, and it's best to be prepared with versatile monsters when this ruleset shows up.
Finally, the Little League ruleset has appeared as the ruleset for this week's Battle Mage Secrets Challenge.

Battle Rules:
- Ruleset: Little League
- Mana Cap: 24
- Elements Allowed: Fire, Water, Earth, Life & Dragon
My Units:
Summoner:
- Obsidian lvl 8: Gives +1 Magic attack to all summoned friendly units.
Tank:
- Xenith Monk lvl 8
- Attack: Melee
- Abilities: Heal, Void, Magic Reflect
- I used this as my tank because despite its low mana cost, it has high health. It also has Void, which reduces enemy attacks by 50%. Its Magic Reflect ability is very useful as it reflects magic attacks back to the attacker.
2nd Position:
- Venari Spellsmith lvl 8
- Attack: Magic
- Abilities: Dispel, Amplify, Redemption
- I used this card to dispel any increased stats from an enemy's martyr card. I also appreciate its Redemption ability, which deals 1 damage to all enemies when Venari Spellsmith is defeated.
3rd Position:
- Spirit Hoarder lvl 8
- Attack: Magic
- Abilities: Triage, Dispel, Blind
- This unit is useful due to its Triage ability, which heals damaged units in my backline. It also has a Dispel ability like Venari Spellsmith, and its Blind ability gives a 15% chance that opponents will miss their attacks
4th Position:
- Venari Scout lvl 10
- Attack: Melee 3
- Abilities: Opportunity, Dodge
- I used this to target and attack the enemy unit with the lowest health. It also has a 25% chance to dodge melee or ranged attacks due to its Dodge ability.
5th Position:
- Uraeus lvl 6
- Attack: Melee
- Abilities: Sneak, Poison
- This unit attacks the enemy's last position with its Sneak attack. It also has Poison, which reduces the opponent's health each round after a successful hit.
6th Position:
- Djinn Biljka
- Attack: Magic
- Abilities: Camouflage, Void, Weaken
- I placed this in the last position because of its Camouflage ability, which prevents it from being targeted unless it is in the first position. Additionally, its Weaken ability reduces the health of all enemies by -1.
Opponent's Units:
- Summoner: Obsidian lvl 3
Tank:
- Hill Giant lvl 3
- Attack: Melee
- Abilities: None
2nd Position:
- Venari Spellsmith lvl 3
- Attack: Magic
- Abilities: Dispel
3rd Position:
- Lurking Puffer lvl 1
- Attack: Trained Magic
- Abilities: Corrosive Ward
4th Position:
- Moxian Rebel lvl 1
- Attack: Magic
- Abilities: Weapons Training
5th Position:
- Scavo Hireling lvl 3
- Attack: Trained Magic
- Abilities: Repair
6th Position:
- Queen Mycelia lvl 2
- Attack: Magic
- Abilities: Protect, Amplify
Battle:
Round 1:
- Xenith Monk defeated Scavo Hireling with Magic Reflect after being attacked.
- Djinn Biljka defeated Hill Giant with its powerful magic attack.
- Spirit Hoarder defeated the now first-position Venari Spellsmith with a magic attack.
- Xenith Monk's Magic Reflect ability defeated Moxian Rebel after it attacked.
- By the end of Round 1, the opponent had only 2 units left.
Round 2:
- Uraeus defeated Queen Mycelia.
- Xenith Monk finished the battle by defeating Lurking Puffer with a melee attack.
Battle Results:
- My team won in the 2nd Round of the Battle.
Conclusion:
The units I used were very effective in this battle. Xenith Monk's Heal and Magic Reflect abilities were crucial. Venari Spellsmith's Redemption ability would have been very useful had it been needed. Djinn Biljka's powerful 4 magic attack helped quickly defeat enemies. Uraeus's Sneak attack was great for targeting the backline, and Venari Scout's Opportunity ability was perfect for taking out low-health units. Spirit Hoarder's Triage ensured my backline remained healthy.
Renting max-level cards is advantageous in battles, as they have all abilities unlocked, making them faster, stronger, and healthier.
