Zingtober - Journal

Hi! Welcome to my first entry in the Zingtober Event. I know I won’t be able to catch up with the marathon since I didn’t post during the first half of the month, but that’s okay. The prompt really caught my interest, so I decided to join.

My Entry

Honestly, I initially planned to join the "snacks" prompt, but my schedule didn’t allow me to draw on that day, so I adjusted and picked a new prompt that I liked.

The prompt I chose is "Journal," and here’s the progress of how I created my art. I based it on the penguin from the cover of the Zingtober Event post.

I used a charcoal brush and a rough-textured brush for this drawing.

Lastly I overlayed a 2 tone gradient on top of all the layers and set the layer to soft light
