I attended my friend's wedding today: November 20 2023

Hello to you all my fellow actifiters from all around the world. For some time now, I have missed my consistency both in this community and in other communities as well because of health issues related to those I love.

But, am happy to let you guys know that we are now bouncing in good health.

Ok, here in our part of the world, as the year is gradually coming to an end, people will keep on holding and hosting ceremonies from Monday to Sunday. So from now on (from now till January 2024) it will be nothing but ceremony ceremony.

Today, a friend of mine wedded and I attended his wedding starting from the wedding talk to reception. Yea, I mapped out today to attend his wedding from beginning down to end.

Their wedding talk lasted for an hour (from 12 - 1 pm) and after the talk, I greeted them and quickly moved over to their reception ground which is 2 miles away.

There, i enjoyed having some cool pictures with both my friends and the couple.

Immediately after taking pictures, I went inside the reception hall and what I saw really impressed me.

After viewing all the beauties of the event hall, I poised on my chair to take more pictures featuring the beauties of the decorated hall.

As soon as the couple arrived, after praying and few more things, they were asked to cut cake.

As they were about to place their hands on the cake, the master of ceremony (MC) told the husband and wife that how they chose to place their hands on the wedding cake knife will determine how they will run their family.

The groom allowed his wife to place her hand first, then, he placed his own on top. What did it signify? Ok, see, as the wife's hand is under her husband's hand, it's a sign that she will remain submissive and deeply respect the husband as long as they both may live. As for the husband, as his hand was placed on top of the wife's hand, it's a sign that he will remain the head of the family ever ready to protect his wife as long as they both may live.

When the wedding feast ended, they shared different souvenirs and they gave me 3 souvenirs as you will see below.

At the end, I made my way back to my destination to write and to drop this actifit report for today.
