Hello everyone, just as I have shared before on my annual children's/ parent's rally I do organize for kids and parents in my community and this year was just exceptional and really an emotional one for me.

So, I set out early morning on the 28th of December, 2023 to prepare early for the program I had, I was just so eager to see these beautiful kids again after being away for the past one year and the wait was getting to an end.

I got there and I saw the kids waiting expectantly for me, when I arrived, I could see how happy they were to see me, they ran towards me and hugged me till I almost fell down but what was just so emotional was when the most little among them told me that he missed me and want me to come stay with them, I got teary but was fast to hold it back.

When I got to the venue, the decorator had already done his job perfectly,so I had to ring the the caterer to be sure the food we paid for will be ready before closing of the event. I got the bible teachers to work and they started teaching the children the scriptures while the adults/ parents were singing praises to God.

When everything was set, the general sermon was given, it was a lovely and powerful one, God really came through and spoke through the man of God that anchored the event. Some adults and kids still gave their lives to Christ and I was just so happy.

When the sermon was over, the mime group came in and believe me these kids did their best, they've really improved on their performance compared to the previous years and I was really proud of them. Infact I added more gifts to them for such a wonderful performance that got the crowd standing.

After the mime, other varieties such as quiz, drama and sword drill came up which led to item 6 ( sharing of gifts and food). We shared so many gifts to all the participants which were over 250 people, my joy was that the gifts were enough to go round everyone.

After this, the program came to an end and the grace was shared. To me, I really felt I could atleast for extend it some more hours but then, whatever has a beginning must surely have an ending, the people stood up and shared the grace and we called it a day.

When everyone went back, I sat down and I couldn't be more happier and grateful to God for His love and kindness as well as the opportunity to gather these beautiful souls to worship at His feet because truly, it's a great opportunity and privilege.
