No More Apologies

For years, the United States had presidents apologizing for America’s past.
While we were busy apologizing, the rest of the world was busy positioning.
China wasn’t apologizing. It was building leverage through markets, resources, trade routes, tech dominance, belt and road. Supply chains. Manufacturing choke points.
Russia wasn’t apologizing either.
It was applying pressure through energy, military force, and disruption. Loud, blunt, and effective.
This isn’t some old chapter in a history book. This is the game being played right now.
For a long time, it didn’t even feel like the U.S. was at the table.
It felt like we were lecturing ourselves while everyone else made moves.
Now the United States is finally playing its hand.
Finance. Trade rules. Sanctions. Alliances. The reserve currency.
Trump didn’t invent the game.
He just stopped pretending it wasn’t happening and made it impossible to ignore.
