Well... Check and Mate ... America.
Things are not atall these simple. Most of the components used by American companies are manufactured in countries like CHina, Vietnam etc.
America has a lead in technology that powers automation, and things like google etc... that's old story but on products nah... they lag behind.
AUtomobiles, chips, AI and products other companies are there about CHinese ones... they produce components required by American automobile companies, and they got those rare precious menerals required to manufacture stuff...carbon chips and stuff...rare earth minerals.
Besides labour cost is high in USA, companies won't establish companies in USA, they go to vietnam, south korea or India where labour is cheap to invest and produce stuff.
So...trump tariffs are stupid. They based on his ego... and those tariffs are not even reciprocal, he wants to charge tariffs so USA covers off its trade deficit.
Anyway... I know a lot on this Trump Tariff coz made too many memes and content on them, because no time to do web3 much so making memes... till I get back to web3. Anyway...
I like Trump as a villain(: he does not act, or tries or pretents to be otherwise. Cool!!
Whatelse can I do but watch him like a drama unfolding.
I can't but think how Americans voted for him, in Hive, Oh trump is pro crypto so we go for him. All crypto people wanted trump to win, but this is what would happen, going along with people like Trump!!
It's good for some countries, CHina for instance. They become new superpower and will get good trading business from emerging countries!
