On this day in 2008, Russia attacked the small nation of Georgia. Most of the world was silent as Russian planes bombed cities. Today the same mistakes must not be repeated and the world must unite against the terrorist state that is Russia.

This is quite a mispresentation of what happened. Russia did not so much attack Georgia, but defend two break-away terretories against Georgian agression. This agression was further motivated by the US telling Sakashwili that they would back him. Which they did not do... That guy anyways is the source of a lot of trouble.

They also did not 'digest' those two terretories into Russia, but left them alone to be, after the thread had been taken care of.
(I've been there right from the beginning, and I can tell you that 98% of Georgia was left alone, also during the 'war').

Maybe you can correct my experience by telling me which cities were bombed, and what terretories besides South-Ossetia and Abchasia (if I remember correctly) were involved in/victim to the Russian 'attack'.

The bombings I was aware of were aimed at the port of Poti (1 bomb).

Another qestion: How would you categorize the 'peace missions' done by US and NATO? I would call them terror.
