SAAB manufacturing plant in Canada? The Gripen is specifically designed for the North

I forgot SAAB made jets too... LOL. I was about to say SAAB cars stopped being SAAB when they were bought out by GM in the late 90's early 00's. At least the newer models were not near with the originals were.
