Today I am going to talk about a token that has recently gone viral, I am going to give you my opinion and, above all, mention interesting information.

The token is BONK

Bonk is a token on the Solana blockchain, although in recent days it has been known as the new meme token.

At the time of writing this post, its price is: $0.00000186 and it has lost 30% in value in the last 24 hours.

Some interesting facts:

• Starting supply: 100,000,000,000,000.
• Its value increased 3000% in a week.
• Developers are already burning billions of tokens in less than 2 weeks since the project started.

Reality:

In 2020, many tokens always inspired by the same dog began to emerge, a trend that has grown more in 2021 and 2022. Many projects calling themselves the doge killer, looking for a fan base but the result is always the same, we have seen it with Shiba, we have seen it with Floki and we are seeing it in Bonk, and it has been alive for less than 2 weeks.

On the other hand, there is a small group of people who manage to multiply their money, where we have two variables, the people who discover the token and buy it (or in some cases give it away) with the idea of ​​selling it in the future. and obtain profit and the developers themselves, who want their token to go viral and when they get a good price, they start selling huge amounts of their token (this does not happen with 100% of the meme tokens, but it does with the majority)

All these actions cause that every time someone tells us about a new token, many of us are not even interested in listening because the story is the same, congratulations if someone who is reading this post has managed to make a profit and congratulations also to those who have not lost a lot of money.

Problems:

The main problem with these tokens is that they are a copy of the copy of the copy, on the other hand the absurd amount of tokens that they put into circulation to end up burning them in less than 2 weeks.

Another problem that we cannot forget is that they have no use other than trading or hoping to make money, they do not have a project built on the token.

It is probably not the only token that we will see this year, in the end, of the benefits they obtain, only a small percentage will be people outside the project and the rest of the people will be developers selling, which would not be the first time that evidence of this has come out.

To finish with my opinion, I personally would not buy bonk, it is a "project" to call it in some way, which does not contribute anything more than speculation, I would like that in the future, all tokens of this style, before launching them, have a firm project behind, not only developers try to take advantage of people, I am not saying that it is the case of any specific token, that's just what I think.

I also think that many times these tokens do badly for the crypto community, a community that many of us value and love, beyond the fact of making money, those of us who like technology, how it works, and much more, until the people start losing a lot of money and appear on national television news as if this crypto world was the worst.
