Hare and Rubber

All the animals lived happily in the forest,
In harmony with nature day by day.
But one day there was a problem,
Hare woke up in the morning in the dark.

He looked around and was horrified,
Magic Rubber surrounded him everywhere.
Hare tried to run, but it was in vain,
He's stuck in Rubber like a fly in a web.

Rubber stretched and choked,
Hare could not get out of it.
The sharper he twitched, the stronger he stuck,
Rubber glued his arms and legs tightly.

Hare was exhausted and groaned,
He begged for help, for salvation.
At that moment, wild boar was running through forest,
He saw trouble and stopped to help.

He stepped closer and wiggled his mustache,
Then he shook his head, then he was silent for a while
And finally said: "Hare, you hurt yourself!
You're tangled up in Rubber, that's the trouble!"

"Boar, help, save me, please!
I can't get rid of Rubber by myself!"
Boar chuckled thoughtfully and wisely replied:
"Hare, the problem isn't Rubber.

You mindlessly followed the false dream of freedom,
But freedom is in your mind,
And not in extraneous things that surround you!"

"Boar, you're right, I made a mistake,
I searched for freedom and happiness in Rubber,
But all this only inside of me,
And now I will never forget it!"

Other animals approached them,
And everyone agreed with boar.
Thus they discussed philosophy of Buddhism
And went their homes happy.
And Hare went inside himself for freedom
And did not return.
