Tree and Frog

In the dense green forest, on the shore of the lake,
Old Tree stood majestically in the clearing.
It remembered many generations of forest animals
And in wisdom stretched out its branches to the sky.

At the roots of Tree, in succulent herbs,
Frog lived and quietly enjoyed life.
She was small, but brave and inquisitive,
Among the greenery and ponds she lived freely.

One day she jumped on a Tree branch,
To get acquainted with ancient wisdom.
"How many years have you been living, old Tree,
And what have you seen over the years of existence?"

Tree smiled at the curious little Frog:
"I have been living for many years, many centuries,

Frog listened, smiled gratefully,
And dived into the water with joy in her heart.
She realized that some conversations
Are better even not to start,
Because old Tree will inevitably try
To powder your brains with its senile delirium,
It's the way it is, and it it will never be fixed,
You just have to wait until Tree rots and falls by itself.
