Do Entertainment sentiments beats serious investing?

Seeing the top gainers on the top 100 cryptocurrencies in Coingecko, It really looks surprising that the currency that gained the most value is the meme coin which gained almost more than 100% of the value in the last 7 days and gained almost more than 60% in last 24 hour. The coin that is outperforming is the FLOKI coin and little going deep in the news, it looks like Elon Musk tweet is the primary reason for it.

This tweet really put some of the meme coins like Shiba Inu, Doge and especially Floki on fire. This always makes me think if I am missing something or market is more comfortable with investing in the meme coins. Though it is marked as a meme coin in the news and media but due to curiosity I just checked the Floki website where they show their whole ecosystem that includes their crypto education platform, Defi platform, Play to earn game, and a merchandising and NFT marketplace and their NFT metaverse.
I am not sure if I will be buying Floki as of today but look like buying a little Floki and playing in their metaverse might be one of the experiences I like to gain in the future.
