Bonk Airdrop: FOMO On Solana NFTs

One of those days when you start feeling bad for not being lucky to have been among the people who were fortunate enough to have received airdrop. Yesterday a lot of people woke up few hundreds and thousands of dollars richer as they got a Solana memecoin airdropped to them. All you need to get this memecoin was to own one of Solona’s NFTs, not all Solana NFTs were eligible for the airdrop, the eligible NFTs were listed. Some people were lucky to get more Solana NFTs, the more NFTs you got the more of the memcoin you would get, so some people got about $200 to $12k airdropped to them. Now this is one of the best ways to create hype to drive demand, this memecoin got listed on bybit and huobi after the airdrop.

After the airdrop they left people to help them do the advertising and talking, that is the power of airdrop, people woke up to free money and started tweeting about it because they wanted to understand why they were given free money. This led to a lot of buzz online about the bonk airdrop, suddenly we started seeing the value of bonk skyrocket, if I am not mistaking, this should be the first memecoin on the Solana blockchain. Some of us felt left out, because who doesn’t like free money. Out of FOMO some people started buying the BONK token, fortunately, it pumped. I was feeling bad at first and wished I had a Solana NFT eligible for the airdrop, because, I have Solon NFTs but they are move to earn NFTs, but then, crypto can be tricky. No one knows where the next airdrop or reward will be coming from, but be rest assured that crypto rewards active participation. As long as you are active on the crypto space, you will get rewarded one way or the other.

Well, people are trading the memecoin and it rose to top 300 and the market cap is below $200 Million which is quite impressive because it created some powerful hype, we are about to see more Solana memecoins soon as this has paved way for them. This Solana memcoin got people aping into some Solon NFTs, unfortunately for them some of these NFTs were fake as these scammers decided to make use of the trending situation to deploy fake NFTs.
