WHAT MONEY CAN NOT BUY, MORE MONEY CAN BUY

Hello and welcome to hivenaija weekly prompt edition 90, my name is @rishagamo and below is my thoughts about money and happiness.

Money cannot buy happiness but can buy things that can make you happy temporally is a fallacy, if money can buy you something that could make you happy, it is as good as money buying happiness, happiness is a temporal state of mind of excitement and joyous feeling, buying a house for instance which brings you a flow of joy and excitement for a temporal period to me this act can be seen as buying happiness. Happiness doesn’t last forever, as humans we experience mixed feelings of sadness and happiness and it is mostly a state of mind that can be controlled and manipulated and could also come and go, although depends on a lot of things, most of which can be tied to having money.

The thing that gives me joy the most is being able to spend money, buy what I want when I want and also being able to provide for my loved ones. This simply means that with enough money in my possession, I can be as happy as I want to be since a lot of what makes me happy can be satisfied with money. Being able to satisfy my desires at the time I want brings happiness to my soul.

Telling a poor man that money cannot buy his happiness when all he worries about and all that makes him sad can be satisfied with the value that money provides, give him some money and see if his life does not become happier. Or a poor woman with a sick child at the hospital with no money for the hospital bill, her happiness can be bought with the money that could pay her child’s hospital bill. A poor man who has a family to feed and care for with no money in his name, such a person’s happiness can be bought with some amount of money.

Yes, you can have money and still not be happy, but if money doesn’t come with happiness, many will not case money, humans as we all know want to have some level of comfort, and having comfort sometimes can equate to being happy, being free to travel to any destination of your choice, eat any food of your choice, own your dream house and a loving family to share with because you can. Tell me if this is not happiness.
Everything in life that makes one happy is tied to the value of which can be exchanged for with money, everything has a price, and so is Happiness.

Although one will say true love cannot be bought with money, sometimes having money can only bring envy, jealousy and hate from people close to you, and sometimes your money can also not save you from certain diseases and sickness. Depending on your definition of happiness, happiness can be bought with money. As the saying goes, what money cannot buy more money can buy.
