RE: Europe 2022 - response to Russian aggression, political failure, and a bleak future?

This is a very well written, "talk straight" post @zuerich. Over my long life, both looking "across the pond" and even visiting portions of it, I have never once had any thought I preferred what I saw there vs. our problems here. That is to say, Europe clearly had it "right" where we here in America have it "wrong."
I could myself write whole posts from here, but do not have the time. To be clear, America is undergoing its own disastrous downturn. For what I believe are similar reasons ...
Suffice it to say, your post touches on what is far more than some theoretical / intellectual exercise. What unfolds from here, with the almost guaranteed suffering of a great many people, will be very sad to experience. In the midst of it, how do you suppose Klaus Schwab and his "Great Reset" minions will be faring?
P.S. Not only the thought-provoking writing is good, but you have compiled a great selection of memes at the end, to illustrate some of your points! 👍
P.P.S. Reblogged to my "legion" (... 😉🤷♂️ ...) of followers.
Thank you a lot for the reblog!
I haven't read much about the "Great Reset", but I have the impression that the power of Schwab is overestimated. He (and other tycoons such as Soros or the Koch brothers) has a certain world view, and he tries to influence or nudge the world closer to his vision. I don't like his goals, but shouldn't he be allowed to organize his "events"?
If many people will suffer, Schwab and some politicians (Merkel, Trudeau, ...) should get some good personal security.
While I would use slightly different words, I suspect we are largely in agreement. The "conspiracy theorists" give these people "credit" for having almost unlimited power. I think the truth is far more complicated than that ...
Interesting (as I know nothing of the history there, i.e. why they chose it) they really enjoy pulling in people from across our world to attend a conference in Davos, Switzerland.
Certainly. I think we are well advised, though, to be very clear on what they are doing in them. And ... What subsequently the largely sympathetic press around the world tells us about it vs. the truth ...
That's an important warning. Concerning politics we really live in dire times.
But that probably will have to change...
