Dropping 10+ Kills In Blood Strike Battle Royale 🩸🔫
It’s been quite a long while since I last played Blood Strike Battle Royale from a First Person Perspective (FPP). Ever since Third-Person Perspective (TTP) was introduced, I’ve spent most of my time playing in TTP, and honestly, I almost forgot just how interesting and enjoyable FPP can be. There’s something completely different about playing in First Person—the gameplay feels more immersive, intense, and much more focused on aiming and reacting quickly to enemies.
For a while now, I’ve mostly been playing on Shutter Island because it perfectly matches my play style. Shutter Island is a relatively small map, and because of its size, you’ll usually find fast and aggressive players everywhere. Once you jump out of the plane and land, you barely have enough time to loot before someone is already shooting at you. Sometimes, you can land, pick up the first weapon you see, and immediately find yourself fighting for your life. 😂
That’s actually one of the reasons I enjoy Shutter Island so much. There’s very little downtime. If you’re someone who enjoys fast paced fights, constant movement, and getting into action almost immediately after landing, then Shutter Island is probably one of the best places to play Battle Royale. You don't have to spend several minutes running around looking for enemies because the map is small enough that players naturally encounter each other very quickly. It basically gives you exactly what an aggressive player wants: land, loot quickly, fight, survive, and keep moving.
However, today I decided to switch things up and return to Deserted Valley, which is the biggest map in Blood Strike. Unlike Shutter Island, Deserted Valley gives players much more freedom to decide how they want to approach the game. You can play aggressively and look for fights, or you can take things slowly, loot properly, rotate around the map, and wait for the right opportunity to attack.
The size of Deserted Valley also makes the beginning of the match much quieter. You can jump out of the plane, choose a location, land there, and sometimes you won't even find another player or squad anywhere nearby. This gives you enough time to collect weapons, armor, supplies, and whatever else you need before getting into serious fights.
But as the match progresses, everything starts to change. The safe zone continues to shrink, players are forced closer together, and the intensity gradually increases. The quiet early game eventually turns into a much more dangerous late game, where almost every rotation could put you directly in front of another player or squad. That's when Deserted Valley really starts to feel exciting.
Another reason I decided to return to FPP is my sensitivity settings. My current sensitivity was originally created specifically for First Person Perspective, not Third Person Perspective. Because of that, I naturally perform much better in FPP. My aim, movement, camera control, and overall muscle memory are already built around those settings, so switching back to FPP felt surprisingly natural.
You might be wondering, “If you play better in FPP, why haven't you simply adjusted your sensitivity for TTP?” Well, there’s actually a reason for that.
When Blood Strike introduced Third Person Perspective, it was presented as something that players could test and provide feedback on. From what I understood, it wasn't necessarily guaranteed to remain permanently. The developers wanted players to experience the new perspective, see how the animations and mechanics felt, and share their opinions.
And personally, I still don't think the TTP animation and overall experience are completely perfect yet. There are still certain things that could be improved, and because the developers could potentially make major changes to the mode or even remove it at some point while they continue working on it so I don't really see the need to completely rebuild my sensitivity around TTP just yet.
For now, I'd rather keep my sensitivity optimized for FPP, especially since that's where I know I can perform at my best. If TTP eventually becomes a permanent part of Blood Strike and the developers continue improving its animations and mechanics, then I'll probably take the time to properly adjust my sensitivity and get comfortable with it.
For now, though, I'm enjoying being back in First Person. After spending so much time playing TTP, returning to FPP almost feels like rediscovering a part of Blood Strike that I had forgotten about. 😂
Thanks so much for visiting my post and taking the time to read through my experience. Don't forget to drop your thoughts in the comments before you leave. Goodnight, everyone. ❤️
