Scout Camp Mode (FC Mobile 26)⚽️
The AI mode I talked about in my other post was actually nothing special 😂. It’s basically just playing against AI, but there isn’t really any specific or unique mode attached to it. I probably made it sound more interesting than it actually is. Anyways, I’ll still record some gameplay for you guys one of these days so you can see what it’s like for yourselves. So, stay tuned! 😏
I think I’ve actually recorded gameplay of this Scout Camp mode before, but that was a very long time ago, probably around 5 to 6 months ago. A lot has changed since then because that gameplay was from a completely different season. FC Mobile has gone through several changes since that time, so even though the mode might still be familiar, the teams, players, ratings, and overall experience are quite different now.
For example, the teams that were available to choose from have changed. The ratings of the players are also different, and even that special team made up of some of the most overpowered or “GOATed” players from that particular season has changed. Those players are basically brought together to form what could be considered one of the strongest teams available at that point in the game. I can't say for sure that they're the strongest team overall, but one thing I do know is that the players in that special team usually come with some really crazy cards and impressive ratings. Basically, if you get the chance to use them, you're definitely going to feel the difference.
Now, let's talk about one thing I absolutely remember from my old FC Mobile days, Power Shot. 😂
Power Shot has to be one of the most dangerous and powerful moves in FC Mobile. Back when my squad wasn't nearly as good as what I have now, I had a friend who already had a ridiculously good team. His players were much better than mine, and on paper, he definitely had the advantage. But there was one problem for him which is my defense🤣. Even though my squad wasn't that great, I was actually a pretty good tackler. Getting past my defense wasn't as easy as my friend probably expected. He knew that if he tried to play normally and break through my defense, I could make things very difficult for him. And honestly, I wasn't just going to sit there and let his expensive squad walk through my defense. So, instead of trying to outplay me, he discovered a much easier solution.....Power Shot! 😂
He would literally attempt Power Shots from ridiculous distances, sometimes almost from the middle of the pitch, and somehow the ball would fly into the net beautifully. It was frustrating, but I couldn't even lie some of the goals were actually very nice. 😭
Technically, every player can perform a Power Shot, but not every player is equally good at it. Certain players have the right attributes and abilities to execute them much better, making their shots far more dangerous and accurate.
My friend knew exactly what he was doing. Instead of relying on normal gameplay, dribbling, passing, and trying to break through my defense, he got himself two players who were particularly good at Power Shots from different angles. That way, he could basically avoid the stressful part of trying to outplay me and just look for an opportunity to unleash a shot.
And the funny thing is, I knew exactly what he was doing. 😂 So whenever I challenged him to a match, I had one simple rule:
"No Power Shots."
If he agreed to that rule, I was confident I could beat him. Without being able to rely on Power Shots, he actually had to play properly and find a way through my defense. And whenever he played normally, I could give him a serious fight.
Eventually, though, I think he got tired of that. 😂 He always wanted to use Power Shots because they gave him an easy way to win, and since I refused to let him use them, he eventually stopped playing against me.
Now that I've finally returned to FC Mobile after such a long time, I haven't seen him around for ages. So I'm guessing he probably stopped playing the game too. Maybe he's somewhere out there still looking for someone who will allow him to spam Power Shots. 😂
As for me, I've still not started grinding for the newer rewards yet. There are quite a lot of things I need to catch up on, and I don't want to rush through everything and accidentally miss some of the free rewards. So I'm going to take things step by step and make sure I go through everything in order.
After all, free rewards are free rewards. 😏
