Embracing Parenthood: A Personal Journey of Sharing Love and Joy

Many people nowadays are afraid to have children. I've seen some videos on YouTube about countries experiencing a decline in population growth because their citizens don't want to have kids.

Note: The things I've written here are solely based on my opinion about having a baby. It is not my intention to offend people who choose not to have a baby in their lives for whatever reason they may have.

Perhaps some are scared because, in the current difficult times, they feel they can't properly raise their children. Others may simply not want the responsibility, thinking that their time for themselves is already limited, and adding more responsibilities is not something they desire.

I'm happy that in 2022, my partner and I decided to have a baby. We wanted someone to share our love and joy with in life.

We didn't make a mistake in our decision. It's true that raising a baby is challenging, there are sleepless nights and days filled with worries. But as the baby grows, you find joy. A single smile from your baby makes all the exhaustion worthwhile. It rejuvenates you, almost like having had an energy drink. Hahaha.

You get excited about the new things your baby can do every month, and there's so much more joy to come.

You might not want a baby now, but you may want one in the future. The only issue is that as we age, it becomes a bit difficult for us to conceive, unlike when we're younger.

Another thing is, if we have a baby earlier, we'll have more time to spend with them while we still have the energy, unlike if we decide to have a baby later.

Not everyone is blessed with a baby, many try but don't succeed.

Let's not be afraid of things that haven't happened yet, like how we'll take care of the baby or where we'll get the money. All of that will be figured out when the time comes. You'll find ways to make your baby's life comfortable. Who knows, this might be the real motivation you've been seeking in life.

I used to be scared of having children in the past not because I don't love kids, they are perfect gifts from above.

But because of the fear of adding more responsibility to my life.

And now that I have a son, I do not see him as a burden at all, he completed my husband and me, and every day I'm happy to be blessed with him.
