What They Didn't Teach You in School
Greetings to my Cent family and my dearest fellow Hivers. It's your young writer @skyehi and here as always to share something that will both teach and entertain my dearest readers.
In today's blog post I'll keep it a bit simple and I'll share a real life problem that I believe not many people are addressing and even the government is pretty silent about.
I'll be sharing a topic about finance and I'll tell you upfront what the school system will never teach you.
The school system and the lessons that children get in school is regulated and controlled by the government one way or the other. You may or may not believe me but it's the real truth.
Children go through years of schooling and are taught a lot about their environment through science. They are taught how to read and write sometimes in different languages. They are taught math and how to calculate which makes them very analytical and more intelligent. They are taught so many things but ever wonder why even in college, nobody's taught how to handle money and become a rich man owning assets and not being under the control of business authorities and leaders of organization?
This is the truth that mostly the government and the school system avoids teaching the students or even youth of today. The principles of wealth is neglected and the reason is quite simple. It's simply one single word "Control" . The government maintains control over the people as long as the people work as employees in companies and businesses built by the government and government regulated industries.
Now I'm not saying that the government is bad. However, the nature of their work and duty demands that they have full control over the people in the nation.
The issue arises when the government is filled with selfish officials that want to take financial advantage over the people. This is why some governments raise task value unreasonably and creates all kinds of systems that takes more money from employees and government workers.
Even people that work as employees in privately owned companies are affected because the private organizations are controlled, regulated or influenced one way or the other by the government.
When the price of goods rise, it affects everyone except for the business owner.
I'll use my country as an example. In my country when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the whole world, the strategy that the president employed was to go into the country's reserves and get some money which would be used to purchase loads and loads of food, nose masks and sanitizers for the citizens of the country. The country had to also borrow from another country to afford the vaccines and necessary equipment and hospital beds for the COVID-19 spread. The nation was able to overcome the problem as the whole world did but it created a serious financial problem for the country a year after the Disease.
Now during this time, the value of the country's currency dropped exponentially compared to the dollar, causing serious rise in the price of goods. At this moment, I learned a valuable lesson I will never forget. Without a doubt, you are privileged for me to share this with you guys.🥰
With the rise of the prices of goods, everyone was affected except the business owners. The reason why the business owners where not affected is because as the currency drops, they were the ones who increased the price of their goods to adjust to the new value of the currency. In such as situation, the price of goods has increased but their incomes has increased with the new price and therefore they didn't suffer much.
The people that felt the negative effect of the price were the employees. This is because they were still getting paid the same amount of money and had to purchase with that money the same goods which has risen to about 4 times the previous price.
This is what makes being a business owner very important. You are almost pretty much exonerated from the changes in the value of the currency. Although yes, sales will be affected. They didn't suffer as much as the employees did.
Now I'm not saying being an employee is bad. It's pretty good but you need to also think about your financial life which unfortunately the schools will never disclose to you.
They train the children to only think and act as workers. However if you create way too many workers for the few businesses, you will have a serious rise in unemployment rate. This is the unfortunate situation of the country at the moment.
Now the youths are trying really hard to find new ways to support themselves financially since they don't have access to jobs as they thought they would have from schooling.
The school is not teaching you to control and grow your financial life so you have to do that yourself. Thankfully there are way too many reading materials about how to grow financial wealth the right way, how to become a millionaire and how to think and grow rich.
Your part to play is to study hard and apply the principles of wealth to your life to see the financial change that you desire.
It is never easy to live a life of financial scarcity. You get no respect, you're always managing things, you run into so many issues that would have been resolved with money and you can't even buy the things you desire.
I'm happy to have shared these few thoughts with all of you. I hope you enjoyed this rather brief blog post. If you're a student reading this or even a worker in an organization, start thinking about building a strong financial life.
Of course not everybody works entirely for money. Some people work really hard in certain companies simply because of the love for the company or the work they do. If you're in any career, whether sports, music, movies or entertainment and you love your work, do it to the fullest because the better you get at your job, the more money and value you create.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog post. I truly believe I'v been able to inspire some few future leaders of our world. Get your hustling boots ready and go out into the real world to make some generational changes. Catch you next time guys. Bye❤️
