What's the future of the World With Artificial Intelligence

Greetings to all fellow Hivers and my dearest CENT family, it's been an amazing week so far with the chance to share content on Hive each day. I'm happy to have another chance to share another blog.

In today's blog I, @skyehi will be taking you into the future of the world with regards to Artificial Intelligence, AI. There have been a lot of news and videos online about how the world could possibly look like when AI is finally on top of its game. Some predictions are speculations of doom and destruction and some are about advanced progress and civilization. Well here are my thoughts on Artificial Intelligence for the future.

One major source that talks and predicts a lot about AI and the future are from the movie industry. Yep, remember all those AI and sci-fi movies you've been watching right? Those very cool AI moments in movies like "IRobot" with Will Smith as the protagonist and the very popular Skynet in the "Terminator"movie .

Skynet was starting to sound like my name on Hive, @skyehi. I'm not a robot though 😅

Those movies really have us thinking and sometimes worrying about what the future holds with Artificial Intelligence. Well one thing I know for sure is that the movie industry is not always right with its prediction of the future. Remember that famous movie "Back to the Future", well they predicted that by 2015 we'll be driving cars that fly. We're in 2023, Elon Musk is now still trying to get self-drive cars to work better. No offence to Tesla lovers though.😅

Well the Truth is the world is advancing stupidly fast and Artificial Intelligence is currently becoming more popular and more used in our times. Basically everyone has heard of something about AI writers like ChatGPT or AI Image Generators were you basically fire up a text prompt and they produce a high graphics image of your text. This is how far we have come with AI. This shows that the world is truly serious with their vision of making AI work and dominate our lives.

There are so many benefits AI will bring to our world however it could also mess things up a lot. Let's take ChatGPT for example.

ChatGPT can create awesome texts and blog posts for Bloggers based on the prompt they send to the AI as instructions. It could definitely make their job so easy that they're basically doing nothing. However that also means that the human content that AI will need to use from online search engines will reduce. This will cause us to slow down on increasing the intelligence of our Search engines.

In schools, there's this issue with students using ChatGPT to complete their homeworks and assignment. This is pretty much making students lazy and the idea of homework is to assess the student on wether they have understood the topic of discussion or not but because of ChatGPT, lots of Students have basically stopped learning. This is definitely bad for our future.

Policies Need To Be Ready

I believe that the ways in which AI can be used should be made clear. I think policies need to be made about AI usage. For instance, cars are really good, they are a mode of transportation. However, not following the road signs can cause accidents.. This means bad things can come out of good intentions if we don't set the right policies around those intentions.

Well even if all things go well with AI in the future, I still have the issue of thinking about how African countries might be playing catch-up to the Western World's advancements, how AI will influence our financial or money system and also the role of Blockchain technology in the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence will definitely make a huge impact and difference in our world.

The Movie Industry

It's funny how nowadays in the movie industries, a whole script could basically be generated with AI, the images and Movie scenes could also be generated by AI. I mean come on, even ChatGPT can create a horror scene script for you instantaneously. Will this be good or bad for the movie industry?

The Music Industry

The same goes for the music industry. I could literally create the lyrics of a song with just ChatGPT. There are AIs that can create the lyrics, the beat and every stanza of an entire music and it would basically not be plagiarism 😅. This is getting crazy guys.

Online Trading

Well this part might actually be a good one because I've been searching for a long time for AI tools that can perform the entire cryptocurrency trade for me and hopefully increase my chances of making a profit every single day. If you guys have any options for me, I'll definitely be glad if you can share some to me through the comments section.

Advancing Not at the Same Pace

The world is moving really fast in terms of modernization and technological advancement. However, unfortunately not everyone is going at the same pace. My fellow Africans are sadly way behind but not too far that it would be impossible to catch up so that's definitely a relief for me.
You would be surprised to see almost every modern system in the western world is in Africa. The difference is that, the majority of Africans are still a bit behind.

The good thing is that not all of us want to stay that way. I, @skyehi amongst others are trying to make a huge difference. The reasons for Africa being behind may be due to a lot of factors which could primarily include resource constraints. However the world should realize that in order for the whole world to make progress, every country must up their game.

AI with Finance

When it comes to finance, I believe the keyword here is ease of transaction. When you go to the banks and you sit down giving every information you need to give to the bank profesionals, it's pretty stressful guys. I barely deal directly with the bank because it takes to much time. With AI, there could be the possibility of automation in that process. Imagine not having to speak with the bank manager or any bank profesional. All you have to do is instruct your AI to pass every information and answer any question based on data you fed the AI about yourself.

AI could also improve security in a major way. It could basically be like the eagle's eye watching over every financial transaction to identify fraudulent activities and alarm the authorities about it. This could save a lot of people from financial troubles.

Blockchain technology

With AI doing it's thing in the world, Blockchain technology could compliment the whole show. Ever heard of Cryptoadoption Project from @hivesucre . This is a project from Hive currently ongoing in the state of Sucre. This project allows people to be able to pay for purchases of goods from shops or malls using HBD from their Hive wallet. This has greatly improved the speed and ease of transactions. Imagine having to pay by just entering your Hive wallet and sending HBD tokens to the Hive account of the shop or mall. That's pretty easy guys.

Bockchain and AI will not only improve finance but also all other industries including heath care, Supply chain management, Sport's and entertainment.

The future is truly great with Artificial Intelligence. The most important thing however is to ensure that we adapt the right way and not take advantage of this progress the wrong way.
