How effective nuclear power is has always been a dilemma. If we quantified the costs of Fukushima and Chernobyl, perhaps we'd have a clearer picture of how much nuclear power could cost. Furthermore, burying nuclear waste underground, as is done at some sites, doesn't seem like a solution that would permanently safeguard radioactive waste. However, today, doing without nuclear power is almost impossible. Your article offers a balanced reflection: nuclear power isn't a panacea, but it remains one of the most interesting solutions for drastically reducing emissions in the short to medium term.
