When Genghis Khan died. So after his death, his body was loaded in a cart and brought across the Gobi desert to his main city. On the way, the place where Genghis Khan's body would pass, any caravan or traveler would be killed so that no one would know that Genghis Khan was dead.

When Genghis Khan's body was brought to his main city, there was advice to bury him, a Mongol leader was told by Genghis Khan that when he died, he should be buried under the largest cypress tree in the city. This tree was very tall and big, seeing this tree, Genghis Khan often said that its shade is a place of great rest for the old. Around this tree there were other small cypress trees which in a way surrounded the big cypress tree. However, a huge grave was dug under the shade of this cypress tree. After that, the horse of Genghis Khan, on which he rode in his last days, was killed and its bones were separated and the bones were burned, dried and cleaned, and a small tent was erected inside the tomb. Cooked meat, grain, a bow, a sword and the bones of his horse were kept there, after which Genghis Khan was buried in this tomb. Until small trees grew around this grave, the people of this tribe kept guarding Genghis Khan's grave by turns. This decision was made so that no one would discover his grave. Genghis Khan, who was fond of building towers of their heads after defeating the enemy and used to make bowls of enemy skulls and drink wine in them, met his end.
