When buying meat becomes a good riding

avatar

Greetings my dear Hive fellows!

It needs time and effort to enhance my cycling capability after a long break of inactivity. I could ride more than 40 km continuously without major breaks except for some drinks or urination before the last winter but throughout the whole winter, I had no option as the freezing temperature is not a good time for riding a bicycle. Also, being a non-professional cyclist, I do it for my health and fitness and I love to explore nature. And in my opinion, cycling around my area is the best way to explore nature. Walking is a good choice but I can not cover a vast area by walking.

There are many park areas that are very large but my bicycle can help me explore them without too much tiredness of walking and save much time in some cases.Last weekend, I didn’t go outside because of too hot weather and the air pollution was also higher as there is a big gap of rain this week. So, I slept till noon and then I planned to buy some Halal meat which I had to maintain as a Muslim. So, most of the time I take my foods from Muslim restaurants or I need to choose fish or seafood from the other restaurants. And I usually cook in a weekly basis as most of the time I don’t have time to cook and if I have I prefer taking rest or exploring the surroundings during my holidays. So, I remain very reluctant to cooking that need much more time.

This gate is the ending of my own living district Huairou and the starting of the neighboring district Shunyi where I was going to buy Halal meat.

I find a beautiful Chinese village having colorful buildings. For the first time, I explored such a beautiful village having colorful surroundings.

This is a tiny tunnel to exit from the village to the highway.

This is the Shop where I buy the halal meat. The left side green characters on a white shape board are the sign for halal foods in the Chinese language.

And cooking beef, mutton or sheep meat is a kind of process in my country's style that takes longer time to cook. But when I cook, I always cook according to my own taste as I can find Chinese food everywhere here. So, after I made myself fresh, and took some food from the canteen, I set out with my bicycle to buy the Halal meat which can not be found in the district where I live currently.

I need to the northern Miyun city where I go for prayer sometimes as that one is the closest Mosque in this part of Beijing. Also, there is another Halal meat shop in the southern direction in the Shunyi district in which the Bejing Capital Airport is located. Both of the shops are almost similar distance but I have chosen the Shunyi shop which is myuch cheaper than the shop in the Miyun district.

As usual, the view of today's weather was excellent as it was raining the previous day. Though the sky was cloudy the white clouds in the blue sky made amazing views.

I had a complete ride of almost 28 km with an average speed of 15.4 km/h which is a good average for me. Also, my heart rate was in the excellent range with a burning of 963 Calory.

I hope I can burn more calories through more versatile activities. I love cycling due to the natural scenic views on the roads where I live. And the mountain view and the blue sky are awesome to explore while cycling in this area.

I hope you like my story of the cycling session to buy halal meat from a distance shop which was an amazing experience. It was an amazing experience to have such an activity like this, with the discovery of natural beauty, to enjoy my Beijing life! If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.

Wish you a great weekend!

You seem to be very brave for you to be cycling even when you don’t really know much about it…
I tried it once and I fell so I never tried it again😅

assalam alaykum! @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
Do you ride your bike that far to buy meat to cook halal dishes?😯

Riding a bike in the hot summer is very difficult!
Even where I live, people get hit by cars while riding their bikes.
Collision accidents occur frequently!

I hope you don't get into a car accident in a place without people!

Where I currently live, I am suffering from the rainy season and hot sun.
I wish you health and happiness!
By the way, I'm curious about halal food!

Don no batt!

I can go by taxi or public bus but I wanted to do some physical activity, so I went on my bicycle. But halal meat is available in the city where I live, especially for mutton or beef. So, I had to go somewhere else to buy them but I don't eat too much red meat, as I love seafood and fish too much. Most of the time I go to Muslim restaurants and order from online shops for my food. I don't like to eat in the canteen which is not so delicious.

There are no accidents here as the cycling route is completely separate and traffic is very strictly maintained here, no chances of violation as you know about the Chinese laws, and here you can not find any driver driving after consuming alcohol, which has very severe consequences here. So, it is one of the safest places to ride or drive.
Thanks for your comment.

I think seafood and fish are better for human health than red meat!
I think restaurant food is unhealthy!

I was surprised to find that China's traffic laws are very strict.
In the world I live in, traffic accidents frequently occur due to drunk driving and drug addiction, resulting in many casualties.😯

So, I don't ride bicycles and motorcycles on the road.

You don't know because ghe media will never let you know the good things. China is one of the safest country in the world with very lower crime rate, especially the big cities are very safe whether it is midnight or any locations.

Hassan, I agree with you!
Large cities in China are safe because they are monitored by Chinese police and military. However, the situation is different in China's provinces.
