Last of the Morgan Silver Dollars!

This is the last Morgan from the bunch I picked up recently. I must say that lighting today was not conducive to coin photography, it was a struggle to even get one good one. This 1883 beauty brings up the tail end of this series. To me it's amazing to hold a 140 year old coin in my hand and it's still beautiful. I don't think they will being the same about me at that age... 🤣

Every time I look at these it just makes me wish they would produce some nice Liberty coins today. I'm sure it will never happen but one can dream! @silversaver888 had queried if I can share some of the stories I've heard from my great great Grandfather's time as a county sheriff so in the next week or so I'll put something together that should be fun to read! Something to look forward too!

It is a precious coin. I have some coins from that time and older. Some maravedis that were at my grandparents' house and they are great coins.

Get these Morgans while you can. While I got most of my Morgans from my father's estate I would have to pay huge premiums for them if I want any more. I think Silvergoldbull.ca have some in stock but are more expensive that I originally thought. I'll have to be content with what I have.
