Silver round from the Sunshine Mint / Re-blog lottery for a chance to win 3 HSBi!

Sorry I've been away everyone, I had a health issue pop up that required a short hospital stay! I'm feeling much better now!

I just wanted to share a silver round from the Sunshine Mint located in Henderson, Nevada right to Vegas. They have been around since 1979 producing quality silver and and gold products. I love the Eagle design and it's a full troy ounce of silver.

This round was produced in 1982 so not after they had started their operation. They do some nice items so you want to check them out. Sorry about the brevity of this post but I'm trying to catch up for the last couple days Please feel free to leave any comments or questions below. thanks for stopping by!

And my disclaimer: Gold and silver stacking can be a fun hobby but isn't for everyone. You can lose money. I'm not a financial advisor and this isn't financial advice, please always do your own research before spending your hard earned money.

Thanks! Still on the mend so I'm a little slow. Same company I believe, they make some cool stuff! I'm already thinking about #TTT...

I wish you the best of health in the future! I have to admit that you have a larger supply of coins than here in Europe.

Thanks my friend! There's a lot of private companies that produce silver products here, not sure if there are many in Europe.

Here in Europe everything is very regulated. Not just minting coins and medals. Everything requires approval, permission, expression of many institutions. The circumstances here are literally anti-business.

I believe that, Europe never has adopted the western stance of free markets. The nobility wouldn't want that!

I always find it funny how you Americans buy some obscure rounds , made by God knows who. Dont you ever get problems if you try to sell them again? I'm in Germany and such things (correctly called medals) are absolutely not a thing here among stackers. For one because they sell with higher VAT rates, but also because people trust the proper currecy coins more, like the Maple, the Kangaroo or whatever.

Also funny in a way is this disclaimer, like this

I'm not a financial advisor and this isn't financial advice, please always do your own research before spending your hard earned money.

I kinda makes me chuckle... Do you really think a real financial advisor will ever take responsibility for the BS he told you? Like refund you if your investment has gone down the drain? Good luck with that...

Obscure rounds can take longer to sell if you want a good price, but I'm not usually in any real hurry. That VAT makes things a lot more expensive there for sure. The disclaimer is mainly if some idiot loses money because they're clueless they don't come trying to sue me. In the US there are way too many sue happy morons...

Well, hurry or not, its not helping anything, right. I mean, they are not real collector's items, which can be worth a lot.
Yes, that tax thing is a true pest. On non legal tender silver coins, and also other silver like bars or so, its a whopping 19%! Gold on the other hand is tax free. Weird, isn't it?
