The Slow Decline of SPS Price

I have been playing Splinterlands for about a year and nine months now. It's a great game although the bots have made gameplay significantly more difficult in my opinion. Over the last month I have been watching the slow drop in SPS price. It was holding steady at just below 3 cents US for a very long while, but now is dipping to around 2.2 cents US. Here's a chart from Coin Gecko this morning:

This is a chart of SPS over the last thirty days. As you can see there is a slow and steady price erosion. There are many factors contributing to this in my opinion such as increased amount of SPS and obviously decreased buying demand. About fifty four percent of the total supply is currently staked. What concerns me is the downward movement, and the price is down 22.7% in the lasts thirty days. Anyone have any thoughts on the decline?
