Three Tune Tuesday (TTT), This Week Some Hard Rock: Halestorm
For this week's three tune Tuesday I decided to try a newer band. I have always enjoyed hard rock/ heavy metal from great like Black Sabbath, AC/DC and right up to newer bands like Volbeat. Having grown up in the eighties I love some good reggae, ska, and especially punk. Todays I'm sharing three tune from Halestorm.
Halestorm is hard rock band from Pennsylvania in the United States. They are fronted by by a strong female singer Lzzy Hale and her brother Arejay Hale on drums, thus the name Halestorm. They have on been on the music scene since around the late 2000's and have produced several great albums with a lot of fanfare. Today I thought we could start with "Apocalyptic", have a listen!
Followed by "I Get Off"
And "Love Bites (So Do I)"

Halestorm is epic. She's got so much OOmph. Did you listen to the song she sand with Amy Lee called Break In? It's a totally different sound but is really beautiful.
I'm really picky when it comes to female vocalists, but I haven't heard a Halestorm song I haven't liked. Do you know The Pretty Reckless?
Break In was great! I love The Pretty Reckless, she has a great voice too. Lzzy just has an incredible voice, I agree with you 100%. The covers of AC/DC and Heart songs are great too.

Ya nice, I can def warm to this, as the singing is coherent and not that screaming shite you hear sometimes. I'd say these folks put on a good live show.. I always like seeing a rock band being fronted by a woman too, more power to her!! She is Epic, I Get Off is quality and she proper owns it!!
