Opening 200 Chaos Legion Packs for a Gold Foil Legendary
I bought and opened 100 (plus 10) Chaos Legion packs hoping that I would get one or two Gold Foil Legendary.
There are a few epic and legendary cards but none of them are gold foil.
I also pulled some summoners but not enough to get even at least one of them to level 3.
I sold some of my extra or unused cards then bought some summoners and a few packs again hoping to make a lucky pull.
I also did trade my GF General Sloan to Troy (@dynamicrypto) for his packs.
Doing the same process a few times, I was able to got Tarsa and Kelya to level 3.
My pack lottery are not too bad but not that lucky as I wished it to be.

I got more of Tarsa and Kelya that is why they’re the first ones to level up.
I would also like to bring Obsidian, General Sloan and Thaddius Brood to level 3.
For Quix the Devious, at least level 2.

The 0 Mana Legendary cards are also very useful in low mana battles. They can serve as a meat shield for sneak or diversion for opportunity. Under the equalizer ruleset, they can be a very huge advantage.

Quix the Devious (2 more to level 2), Torrent Fiend, Grum Flameblade and Queen Mycelia are on the top of my wish list. I can trade a few cards for the Torrent Fiend. The same strategy is very difficult to do for the other three. I will be losing a lot of my combat power.
Conclusion:
In total, I was able to open around 200 packs. The total market value of the cards is less than the cost of the packs (plus potions). I had no regrets though. I expected this might happen and already accepted a much worse outcome.
For now, I will continue to comb my deck to see what I can trade for other cards that is more suitable for my gameplay.

I bought 100 packs in the presale and had about the same luck as you . But I did get 3 GF summoners.
Did you use potions ? I always use gold foil and legendary potions to be increase my chance's. They don’t cost a lot and every GF and legendary I pull makes it feel like it payed off.
Yes. I did use potions on all of my packs. I was able to pull a GF cards but none of them are Epic or Legendary. My guild mates are able to pull 3 GF Legendary plus some GF Epic by opening 40 packs. One of them also got 3 GF Legendary from just 10 packs.
Maybe my luck somewhere else. lol.

Yeah, there is some mechanics in place but I do feel like luck plays a big factor.
If you've got the budget for it, You should buy some more packs and hodl until the legendary summoners come out. That's what I've been doing! :D
