Truly Epic: Uraeus

The Uraeus is mana cheap monster with sneak ability. It is a popular backline attacker in low-to-mid mana battles. Being a neutral card in nature makes it also appealing among all splinters.

I like to pair and cover my Uraeus with another sneak attacker to deliver cascading damage. I like mine to be at least level 2 to for a significant attack damage.

Stats and Abilities

Sneak -> Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.
Note: Unless there is a monster with Taunt on the enemy's team, Sneaking Monsters will always attack the last position.

Poison -> Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied.
Note: The Poison ability is triggered 50% of the time. Poison does damage at the end of the turn and is not affected by shield or void.

Combos: Cascading Sneak Attack.

Uraeus has very low health with a very thin armor. It can only take around 2 hits at most. Protect it from both sneak and opportunity to use its sneak damage much longer. I found that another sneak attacker with at least moderate defense is an excellent cover . Their combined defense and attack are astonishing!

Below are my top 3 pick Chaos Legion edition monsters that goes perfectly with Uraeus:

1. Tenyii Striker
	A sneak attacker with moderate stats under the fire splinter. Its health is more than enough to cover Uraeus from sneak attacks. I like this one to be at least level 3 for an increased attack (and stats). Maximize the damage and defense of this combo under Tarsas' command.

2. Pelacor Bandit
	Another efficient sneak attacker under the water splinter. It has lower health than Uraeus but has moderate speed and flying ability. This makes it highly evasive from most sneak and opportunity attacks. I like this one to be at least level 4. Deploy them under Kelyas’ command and they will assassinate your opponents from behind.

3. Silent Sha-vi
	Another sneak attacker and a perfect cover for Uraeus under the death splinter. I also like this one be at least level 3. Dispatch them under Thaddius’ command to eliminate those pesky backline magic attackers.
