Truly Legendary: Spirit Hoarder

Spirit hoarders are legendary cards that can fortify your teams’ formation. It can also reduce damage taken from opponents abilities. Being a neutral card in nature makes spirit hoarders truly legendary.

I got my spirit hoarder from an airdrop – my very first and only airdrop so far. :)

Stats and Abilities

MY FAVORITE FORMATION USING THE SPIRIT HOARDER

1. The Grid Lock: Tank, Taunt and Triage

This is one my favorite line up at high mana battles. I generally place my primary tank, with the taunt ability, on the second position. My Spirit Hoarder somewhere at the back as its support.

I call this formation the grid lock. All the incoming attacks are locked unto my primary tank (taunt). The spirit hoarder strengthen this formation by providing a healing support.

Taunt - All enemy Monsters target this Monster [if they are able to]
Triage - Heals the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage.

I can further fortify this line up by placing a secondary tank at the first position that can do some damage with a first position healer at the back.

Tank Heal - Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round [ Restores 1/3 of the max health, rounded up ]

2. Ability Cushion: Blast, Snipe, Opportunity and Sneak

The triage ability is very useful in reducing damage taken from abilities. Abilities such as blast, snipe, opportunity and sneak. This can make your team formation last longer than your opponents. If possible, don’t let it take direct damage from such abilities as it has very low health. I generally use a monster with a moderate health as an ability shield before my spirit hoarder.

Blast - Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster [ Additional damage is equivalent to main damage divided by 2, rounded up ]
Snipe - Targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position
Opportunity - Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health
Sneak - Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster

Conclusion.

Spirit hoarders’ abilities alone are exceptional. Being a neutral card makes it indeed a legendary. It is a card that every deck should have.
