The games you list are highly sus. First, none of them are of any quality, no FPS, no blockchain, just more of what appear to be cheap white label mobile apps that can be purchased from $20-$300.

There is nothing on these google drives that ties them to you or your company. One even list someone named Nicolas Vegara as the owner. One is obviously created by someone who is not a very familiar with the English language or did not pass high school level classes to put it another way. Several of the links have nothing there.

These are very very low quality games by anyone's standard. It's almost like they've been outsourced to a developer in India and resold to American clients, just a hunch.

Do you honestly expect others to believe, with no proof these games are even your company's creation and their extremely low quality, that RRS can now create "the biggest blockchain game yet in the industry"? I still don't buy it Justin.

Some of these appear to be loaded up in very old versions of Unity. Why would that be? Usually because the source code that was purchased to modify is so old that it requires an older version to compile.

I see nothing unique in any of these, just more standard cheap white label repackaged games with new names and some mods slapped in them. But again, that's not my complaint.

Lots of companies who don't have a lot of talent and are just starting out do this because they can get away with it due to their clients not being aware they could do it themselves for much cheaper or just don't want the hassle of learning Unity.

They just want some shitty game with their name/specs in it and they're willing to pay the upcharge for someone to do it for them. The issue I have is that you still haven't shown anything that indicates RRS has the ability to complete what you claim to be doing ... creating "the biggest blockchain game yet in the industry".

I haven't seen anything close to that yet. What I have seen are very low quality easy to code games that you can purchase the source code for from a white label shop online and most appear to have been edited by others, not RRS.

If that's not the case, can you prove they belong to RRS and if you can I'm not sure you'd want to because again, these games are complete n00b level code. They do not instill confidence in me personally that RRS has the capability to do what you say and they honestly just reinforce my initial reaction even stronger.

Hey @tuck-fheman !
Thanks you for your concerns.

We’ve shown very early versions of the games, as they are outside our terms.
The clients have agreed we can show these at this stage of development, and for promotional cases.

We’ve linked to the companies that some of these comes from. I invite you to reach out to them, and ask about Royal Reptile Studios.

We’ve also addressed the “biggest blockchain game ever” as a marketing gimmick. Everyone has done this at some point, and we apologize for that.
We’ll be a cool game on the blockchain.

  • What experience does RRS have with blockchains?
  • Which blockchain if any has RRS ever completed a project on?
  • Can you provide examples?
  • Do you have a Hive blockchain solution already?
  • Is it or will it be open-source?
  • If not, why not?

These are all good questions. Probably most of them would be answered in the negative, but that doesn't mean that they can't do it. Of course I would have more confidence in the team as well if they had that experience, but all companies start small. The splinterlands team also didn't have any prior blockchain games and were successful. Obviously they had a good set of skills (even before splinterlands) and this is probably the question: can RRS pull this off? For now I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but it of course it depends on what they deliver in their updates

Oh, yes. Nicholas Vegara is one of our helpers.
He’s from Mexico and learning coding from a senior developer.
As mentioned this was early on in the development phase.
As a developer you would understand how easy text is to change, and it’s the least important thing until the client is able to see it.

Oh! And the game of reference for the Unity version is for older SDKs that no longer work with newer versions, as developers have abandoned some SDKs the client wanted to try out.
In this case, we are integrating Shopify within Unity.
