Ok looks like they do something. It's not like the team disappears and set profiles on private. That would be concerning.

Why do people think a crypto gambler is any different than the people who run those companies and lend the money?

Those are greedy people too. And "other people's money (OPM)" is always easy to lose, because it doesn't hurt.
