A Phone Call Scam | A Saddened Moment

The rate at which fraudster keep increasing around us is really alarmy and need to be curb with every possible means even though things are hard or the economy isn't smiling with everyone that doesn't mean you should now consider scamming other people where there are lot of jobs out their to do and earn from, trying to scam people of their hard earning money is really uncalled for, even if you are successful with the scam, the victim will be facing a lot because of what he or she lost. Since I joined this online space and have read a lot of tactics scammers might be using to scam, I have always been careful and always give it a second thought especially when it deals with finance because at times we can't be too careful.

Have not really experience scam online since I always avoid stories that touches the heart but I almost paid for what I didn't buy because someone fell for the scam, it was during my hustling days before I decided to focus on my online hustles and it happened year back when I was employed as a pos operator since I decided to just do something for the main time instead of wasting my time at home and also earn along side, Pos was the less stressed work I could do without anyone really disturbing me and at that time we do have people coming in to withdraw or make transfers daily and we do charge 20 naira per thousand, in my country, pos is really a fast growing business and we have lot of people coming up to start the business and some went to the extend of employing people to work for them.

So this faithful morning, I was in the shop then a woman from the street who also have her shops came to make some emergency transfer around 400k, I could see her reaction like someone in a haste but who am I to question her why she want to make such huge transfer and why she was in a haste, she provided the account which I paid into since she only have cash with her which she took from her sales, then she realised the call she received was fake, she was really furious, sad and short of words at the same time, I really don't know what was going on until she decided to play smart with me. Nigerian women at times can be so funny, she somehow started blaming me for not calming her down when I saw her requesting to make transfer in a haste, I didn't know what to say at first but I was force to talk when she try not to pay, Omo I shouted to the extend that people came to ask what actually happened.

Apparently someone put a fake call to her that they need that amount of money urgently, maybe there is some kind of jazz with such call, till date, I don't know but it was after the deed was done before she realised, it was really a long matter but she had to pay the money we transferred on her behalf because it was her loss, I was shocked though and was even wondering if Jazz or juju is actually real in such manner, few month after the incident, I resigned.
