Getting An Icloud+ Space | The Easy Way

Never have I imagine that getting an icloud+ space will be this stressful, I'm really not a fan of apple product right from the state and that is the major reason I decided not to have an Iphone even though everyone want one (big boy thing) but 3years ago, I just got the urge to get a macbook since my window laptop was acting funny and really slow when it come to performance and I heard Macbook is really faster than windows back then so I got 1 (Macbook Air) and the main issue started, well it is fast like they claim, doesn't hand but It keep asking me to pay for softwares before I can use it, I have to even pay to use Microsoft office and there is no way I can crack those softwares like we use to do on windows, well I didn't pay, I just port to online doc instead since it is the same.

Also I figured the space was small to keep files (245gb) but with time it started giving me the low space stuff back in the days, I try getting Icloud+ but couldn't figure it out because my debit cards wasn't working so I somehow got vexed with the whole process and formatted my mac and to my surprise, I wasn't able to put it on again, did lot of research and what I saw was that if you format your macbook, that is the end unless you have another macbook to power it back ( kind of saw the trick on youtube) and I had to use a friend mac to restore it back and I told myself not to leave any files that will take up space on it again but all that is a lie, this evening I got the out of space reply again after downloading some movies, I had to ask around from apple users on how they use to get their storage without a debit cards, received two options, use a virtual card but all this third party virtual cards charges was too much and one even gave penalty fee. Second option is to use apples gift card which I have no idea off.

Got the idea I can easily buy any gift cards from my bank apps (either palmpay, opay or kuda) and I had to try it out, got 2$ apple gift cards twice, at first redeeming it on apple store was really hard, as a good 9ja citizen I put my details there and even put 9ja as my region but they want us to lie before we can even use anything relating to gift cards 🤣🤣 which was my first issue, had to change my region to United states, change my billing address just to be able to redeem the cards I brought ( chai, it is finished)

After redeeming, getting the space became another problem because I kept receiving this, had to snap and sent to my brother on whatsap for guidance, at some point we both got feed up, he was the one that suggest changing my region just to be able to redeem the gift cards and now we couldn't figure this out and I was already feeling this mission impossible till I enter google just to try and see what I can do, and at the end I had to just log out my apple store and sign in again, I remember when I change the region, I had to restart the mac so it can activate, I think it is the same as the apple store, you have to sign out and sign in again so it can switch automatically.

In summary, the best well to get your icloud+ space incase you have issue is to buy apple giftcards from your bank (palmpay or kuda which is faster), make sure your region is set to United states and also your billing address, then restart your Mac and redeem the cards on apple store. After that, sign out of your apple store and sign in again then process to buy the space ( it will surely work).
