Training new Splinterlands members who recently have interest in the game isn't that an easy tasks I must say unlike those days when I actually came onboard, back then we only have few things to learn and I actually learn everything on my own without a guide even though it took a lot of time to figure everything out. I think we had only alpha, beta cards then and untamed card just launched so it was pretty easy knowing my monster cards and learning how to adjust with the abilities. For the past few weeks, I have actually watch how the new members are gradually adjusting to the game and familiarising them to the whole sysem.

At first they find it really hard to understand so the tips I game them was way simple, stop playing the game, to the Item section and focus on knowing most of the cards and all the abilities we have in the whole game. First I have to pinpoint how to differentiate each cards based on the element, the set and how to identify a melee, range, magic, multiple attack and non-attacking monster cards but the major problems newbie might encounter while playing the game is to figure out what and what cards to at least select based on the rule set giving, most times your ruleset and element given have lot of impact on which cards you might want to bring onboard and bringing the wrong card will surely put you at a huge disadvantage and I figured out once the ruleset show up and after selecting your element as a newbie, the rest always feel confusing.

It took me weeks to actually understand and even get to remember most of this things but as a newbie this should be you go to guides in the game, there are lot of things to learn and actually figure out, without that it will be really hard playing the game and ranking up. After figuring all this out, getting some cards to play with is always important, relying on the starter deck giving after registering is somehow a waste of time, it can only take you to a certain rating and you will get stuck if you don't own or rent cards, on my end I do focus on melee and magic cards and they are of good use in lower based leagues, so head over to splintercards, know your monster cards and the abilities attached to them, understand the kind of ruleset which you might be encountering in your battles, know what kind of cards and abilities to select and you are good to go.
