This is really a hard question to answer and it is a deep one, If the world experience a sudden blackout and we can't make use of technology anymore, well the world will be in total chaos to be honest. We are in the computer jet age and the generation of nowadays have been use to it to the extend that we are one way or the other addicted to it, it is even add to stay away for our gadget for just 1mins talkless of 1hour, one my end here, my gadget is my life, when I wake up, I pick my phone just to scroll through various social media and I don't drop it till I want to sleep in the midnight.

The main matter is that, we all live and dine on the internet, most of us only earn using our tech skills and to even make the matter worst, we already forgot what we study in school because they aren't in light with what we even study, imagine studying Medicine and you are now a crypto trader, a whole pharmacy student now turn affiliate marketer, how did they even align, well that is what the country economy turn us into since there is no good paying job out there.

So let say there is a sudden blackout which will actually last forever, what offline skills do I have and how will I survive? First thing first, my driving skills is really good and my longest driving hour was 8hours, even though driving is tiring at times but one will really enjoy it, so I will doing uber job or apply as a private driver since uber still need technology as part of the work. I have done uber driving before for like 2 months but the experience and what my saw made me quit it, at first I saw it as an escape out of boredom and my introvert life so I had to register and do the requirement, the first few weeks was really amazing and there are gains there if your car is in good working condition but the major problem is that at the end of the day, your gains will still be going back to the car maintenance because it can get fault any day, anytime, if you don't fix your car ac today, it will be the shock absorber tomorrow🤣🤣

Apart from uber driving, another offline job I will be considering is to work in an hospital as a physiologist, maybe as an Cardiac Electrophysiologist or other branch of physiology which means I will have to further more my education and probably travel out of the country because it is not that valued here, even in school, it is theory upon theory, practical is zero yet they know practical is one of the main deal and lastly I still have the option to start agriculture job which is the work of our forefathers and it really wide with various section like crop farming, fish farming, animal rearing and lot more.

I just pray we don't experience any sudden blackout in future because the technology has already eaten deep into our system and without it, I fear we will even be able to survive at all or find it easy to adjust to life.

we already forgot what we study in school because they aren't in light with what we even study, imagine studying Medicine and you are now a crypto trader

O.K. I am imagining that I am a crypto trader after having spent years of studying medicine. Someone like hypothetical me who studied medicine would have an interdisciplinary education. A student of medicine would need to be able to have attention to detail which a crypto trader would also have. To practice medicine I'd have to be able to make decisions under pressure which a crypto trader would also experience. A student of medicine wanting to become a doctor like me hypothetically would need analytical skills which are skills a crypto trader would need to have to decide how to move my investments in and out of the market.

Sorry but I am not seeing the problem by using my imagination. What I would learn in school about medicine could be applied to crypto trading. It wouldn't be a perfect 1:1 match but neither is learning enough to get a drivers license and then learning the ins and outs of being an Uber driver.

It will be very challenging to cope truly without technology but one sure thing I know about humans is how we adapt easily.

You have got several plan B and that will help you survive in the new world.

That’s the typical Nigerian problem. What we study isn’t what we become. The circumstances here pushes us to make ends meet and not chase dreams.
