Been exposed to the finance world, I get to learn a lot of things daily especially on how to start building my finances gradually like they use to say, slow and steady is the goal especially if you are starting from scratch. We have been in the do something to earn era just like play to earn for most gamers who play some certain games which deal with investment one way or the other and earn along side, we also have the write to earn just like the hive platform were we have authors who engage in the different aspect of blogging and also earn along side, this aspect is really wide since we also have the video aspect of it. Many have really built up their career aspect through this means but there is one aspect many haven't really look into which is the saving aspects.

My sister actually came around today and while discussing she decided to tell me about her savings plan which actually caught my attention even though it is offline and through the microfinance banking app which in my country (Nigeria) is the opay, palmpay application, I have actually been using palmpay for a while but they didn't have the saving features and I remember I once use a saving app back in the days which was Cowrywise where I once use as my saving app but with little or no interest in it so I just gave up because there are more ways online to invest online and earn instead of just saving with not Apy to earn from so mostly I switch to hbd savings and earn those juicy 20% yearly returns

There is nothing really bad saving in fiat as long as there is a cool interest rate on it, after explaining to me how she set her business saving target and was planning to use it as her own saving platform for the next 500 days while saving some certain amount daily, if she manage to meet that target, she will be getting the interest will be accumulating daily, the plan really make a lot of sense to me and I had to look amount the option just to see which target I can set for myself, I decide to task myself and save 1million naira ($1388) in the next 365 days even though it look hard a bit since I'm still committed to some of my saving means, I know I can always try to task myself and see this through.

Having a savings in form of investment (since there is an interest attached) is also one of the various ways to start building up your finances gradually instead of using the major banking system which will always deduct based on maintenance charging fee, that is what we do face here and one reason why I stop putting money in the bank. With time I will see how this saving target play out, you can always check out your Opay microbanking app to see how you can utilise this option .
