The Magic Strategy When Abilities Are Absent

It is a new season already and we players are trying to gather enough glint by playing more battles so as to start grabbing the recent release Rebellion soulbound rewards cards which we believe will be a game changer to some certain strategies. This week, the battle mage challenge theme is Silence summoner which means all summoners loose their abilities in this particular battle, you just have to focus on the abilities that come with your monster cards and at times it is come hand in hand with another interesting ruleset which is Back to Basics.

I wasn't really expecting this two combo rule set together to be honest but it just came all of a sudden and both combo means it wi be a pure battle without any abilities involved. I had this particular Jedenjenda in a 34 mana capped battle and we had 3 ruleset which were Silence Summoner, Up to Eleven which give all cards the Amplify ability and lastly was the Back to basics which remove all ability from the monster cards, we could pick from any element except earth. Well we had average mana and also good option of element to pick from, on a norms in this kind of battle and ruleset combo, Magic cards are the best option to use in battle, using melee is bad because it only attack from the front position and also hit armour first, range cant attack in first position and still hit armour first while magic hit the health straight and that should be what will need to focus on this particular battle.

I have enough magic cards in water element with good health because that is strictly important in this kind battle so I went with water and pick my maxed kelya as summoner. I picked Diemonshark as my frontline and the only melee cards, then I went all in with magic cards like Djinn Oshannus, Water caller, Riverboat Captain and Musa Saline, all with their 3,2,3 and 1 magic strength, to me that should be enough to deal justice to the game probably give me some upper hand in the battle. Submitted and seeing what my opponent brought onboard was a shocker, he understand the whole ruleset assignment and came all in with magic cards only but slightly strong in terms of health

At first he destroy my frontline after i destroy his 0mana card, but somehow he had upper hand and started destroy top health cards, it was like do me I do you scenario until it was a face off between his Nerissa and my Riverboat captain and at some point the sequence switch and I somehow destory it which now gave me upper hand and I was able to destroy his last card. In this kind of ruleset combo, it is best to make use of a magic cards only if possible with good health stats and strength because that is the major way of winning this kind of battle.
