German media blames cryptocurrencies for terrorism, neglects how wars are financed with money printing
Ein deutsches Medium behauptet in der Headline, "Wer Kryptowährungen toleriert, nimmt Terroranschläge in Kauf." (Die Zeit).
Demgegenüber möchte ich die Aussage des Israelischen Finanzministers stellen:
"Ich habe eine unzweideutige Anweisung gegeben, dass es keine Budgetgrenze gibt." (den Krieg gegen Hamas zu finanzieren)
Kriege werden auf der Welt hauptsächlich mit Schulden finanziert, je länger ein Krieg dauert, desto mehr Geld wird gedruckt, um den Krieg zu finanzieren.
Das ist beim Ukraine-Krieg so, der hauptsächlichen von den USA und EU gezahlt wird und das ist auch beim Israel-Krieg so.
Ohne Fiat-Geld wäre es viel schwieriger Kriege anzufangen und auf Dauer zu finanzieren. Das Geld würde schlicht nach kurzer Zeit ausgehen oder es müssten die Steuern während eines Kriegs massiv angehoben werden, aber das könnte am Widerstand des Volks scheitern.
Die Hypothese ist daher, dass es ohne Fiat-Währungen weniger oder kürzere Kriege geben würde.

A German media claims in the headline, "Who tolerates cryptocurrencies, accepts terrorist attacks." (Translated headline, Die Zeit).
In contrast, I would like to contrast the statement of the Israeli Finance Minister:
"I have given an unambiguous instruction that there is no budget limit." [Financing the war against Hamas]

Wars in the world are mainly financed with debt, the longer a war lasts the more money is printed to finance the war.
This is the case with the Ukraine war, which is mainly paid by the US and EU, and it is also the case with the Israel war.
Without fiat money it would be much more difficult to start wars and to finance them in the long run. The money would simply run out after a short time or taxes would have to be raised massively during a war, but that could fail due to popular resistance.
The hypothesis, therefore, is that without fiat currencies there would be fewer or shorter wars.

Vielleicht sollten sich mal alle die mit Krypto zu tun haben zusammen tun und den Artikel zur gleichen Zeit aufrufen und dann im Takt jede Sek. aufrufen für eine längere Zeit. !LOL

Fiat, Krypto, Diamanten, Gold (wobei das wiegt zu viel) ist alles egal. Wo ein Wille da ein Weg und egal ob Terrorismus oder Krieg. Es würde immer eine Möglichkeit gefunden werden um ans Ziel zu kommen.

In the US CNN pushed the same angle, that Hamas gets all this money from crypto. Wars are very expensive, having been in the military that I can tell you. Printing money of course is the easiest way to get money, and taxing people massively.
Without fiat governments would be bound to actual resources on hand. Gold, silver, diamonds, grain..... But they would still borrow from friendly nations to finance wars, it's been done that way since the dawn of time. So eliminating fiat wouldn't probably change anything.
And terrorists of course will accept any handouts they can get, without crypto it would be diamonds, cash, gold, and anything else of value.
"We can afford two wars" seems like they are financing both wars. haha
