I find it concerning when leaders align themselves with ideologies that carry harmful implications while expecting the public to view them as harmless. AND while I understand the reasoning behind calling violence “a social construct,” I think that framing risks blurring the line between genuine harm and accountability.
Even more, I find it troubling how often voters end up choosing candidates whose values and beliefs raise serious concerns. Sounds like a global problem because the same thing happens in local politics, especially in recent times. Maybe there's been something in the air or maybe not? Haha. I guess we'll never know.
