It's really scary times to see how Politicly slanted Twitter & Google / Youtube are. When the Truth hurts so much that they ban you for posting it, thats when they start to self destruct. You can only post what fits their narrative. If the Truth is inconvenient they will censor & ban,

I totally agree with you.
Hive can become a full and independent ecosystem. That is one of the reason, I am writing here. And unlike other Blogging platforms, here there are already several communities on several topics!

Getting banned on Twitter is a blessing since then I've been exploring more on Hive. I mean, I could always go create another Twitter Account but why would I? It's really a cesspool over there.

image.png I do mean they can't handle the truth. Which is why they want to cancel history too. I have learned to not share anything on there that will get a negative reaction. I love being here on Hive because I can post what I want and not have to worry about getting banned. No jail here.

yeah, as a business owner I understand the need to market on all Social Media Platforms and your need to tread lightly. I for one just can't hold back. Hive is awesome for the reasons you mentioned + so much more

lol, we all clicked agree on all TOS lol. I am in agreement with you. I think the newspaper industry started ideas that are just ideas like the free press and journalistic integrity.
The reality is that even the newspapers, news TV channels like ABC News Fox News CNN, etc.. are all for-profit privately-owned companies. They can set their rules however they want.
The only place that has any real freedom with no censorship is the blockchain, but then again angry the wrong whales, and boom they can downvote your post into oblivion, and if the posts receive enough downvotes then your account gets tagged and all of your posts get buried.
It is a form of censorship but seems better because it is community driven.

one other thing that happens is if you "beat" somebody in an argument they block and report you even if you did not break any rules. There are groups of people that get together and all report the same person for no reason other than they present facts that prove the other persons views wrong. If Twitter gets enough reports they just go ahead and ban without looking into the matter letting the mob rule. It's like how the government is forcing business owners to become an enforcement agency for them in order to do their job for them.

Those social media platforms are heavily bot-run. I think that it is a handful of programmers and techs and about a billion bots. Technology keeps weeding people out. Eventually, it will all be a bot-operated world.
