HPUD Plus My Fiendish Plans for PIZZA, ZING & PEPE

I asked DALL-E to produce a #meme with a US shaped #PIZZA to talk about my strategies for #PIZZA, #PEPE and #ZING.

The recap for my HIVE Empire shows that the reported value of my account grew from $2,216 to $2,646. This chart shows my account growth:

I borrowed several hundred dollars to fund my account. I paid back some of the loan at the end of 2022. I didn't earn enough during 2023 to make a loan payment.

Instead of paying back the loan, I decided to start 2024 with a power up. Here is the transaction for proof.

Yes, I did power up on HIVE Power Up Day; however, I think my action might be considered disingenuous as I plan to power down in the next few days.

The Power Up Badge should only be for people who have never withdrawn funds from HIVE!

I worry that the intense pressure to power up might back fire on HIVE.

I encountered a funny definition the other day. A quote said: "You know that it is a Ponzi scheme; if you put money in and never get money out."

I want to be one of those people who brag about the money they made playing HIVE and not the people who were left with empty bags!

I've been on HIVE for 76 moons and, dag-nab-it, I hope to some see some benefit to my participation on the platform.

My HIVE Strategy

Now, I notice that I earn 1 HIVE a week for every 550 HP in my account. I powered up 5,873 HIVE. This is enough to earn dolphin status. 5873/550 = 10.68. I plan to power down 10 HIVE a week. I will launch the power down on Thursday.

So, it is silly. I am trolling for an #HPUD badge when I really plan on powering down 10 HP a week for the duration of the year.

I will start powering down 11 HIVE a week if the account reaches 6050.

My formula is simply floor(HP/550). This formula sluffs off most of my curation rewards. I will continue to vest the small number of post rewards I receive.

NOTE: I will put the money in #HIVE-Engine where it will likely disappear.

My ZING Strategy

The big news for HIVE is Holozing.

I like to support new projects; So, I acquired 400 #ZING in December. I also acquired 10 #POSH. It looks like I am earning 3 ZING a week during this phase of the game. So, I decided to issue a power down of 3 ZING a week.

I will probably end up playing the stupid game and lose all my rewards. But it is fun to think that I make actually make money on a HE coin.

My Pizza Stategy

The Pizza Guild has developed several programs for HIVE; So, I like supporting their efforts.

The PIZZA coin offers 12% interest a year compounded daily. So, I accumulated 1750 PIZZA. 1750 * 0.12 / 365 is 0.58. I receive that much interest each day. The power down works on a weekly cycle. 7 * 0.58 is just over 4; So, I will power down 4 PIZZA a week ... which I will dump on the market every Monday.

The formula is simply to multiply my daily reward by 7. Round down then power down.

The formula means that any PIZZA rewards I receive will go to my principle. I am just powering down the interest.

My PEPE Strategy

The developers of the PEPE token have been active on the platform. So, I bought 100,000 PEPE. The coin gives half the rewards in staked form and half in free form.

I am dumping my PEPE.

My LEO Strategy

I was planning on accumulating 1000K LEO. I lost 10 HIVE when I tried using the swap program on leodex.io last November. I am mad at LEO; so I think I stop at 777 LEO.

I don't receive much from LEO anyway.

Accumulation Mode

Most of my coins are in accumulation mode. I buy the coins when the price drops and sell the coins when the price increases.

I have 10K #POB split over different accounts. Just under 50K VYB. I have 25K STEM in a curation account, 70K CCC, and 5K FOODIE.

Conclusion

I will probably just keep losing money on #HIVE-Engine.

However, I think it would be fun to start earning an income from HIVE.

I thinking about power down 10 HIVE a week and possibly earning a HIVE a week from my HE account. That would be almost $4 of income a week in 2024.

Of course, I will probably lose all my money on HE coins.
