Old and new forecasts + happy new year 2024!
Dear Hiveans,
After enjoyable Christmas holidays with the family, I wish you a nice year's end and an even better start into 2024.
Last year I made some predictions (here), which I would like to review now:

| Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will lose the presidential elections in Turkey. | Unfortunately wrong. |
| The oil price will rise above 100 USD again. | Wrong, but narrowly, it went above 93 USD. |
| We will see another "big event" after Covid-19 and Putin`s war. My guess is a major popular uprising (revolution), either in China, Russia, Turkey or Italy. | The Prigozhin rebellion (wiki) wasn't enough for this forecast become true. |
| Though I don't watch sports: FC Bayern Munich will win the UEFA Champions League. | Wrong. |
So, as last year 2 right and 5 wrong - unfortunately not so good again 😕. New year, new luck 🍀.
Predictions for 2024:
- Bitcoin will surpass the old ATH of 70`000 USD this year, with lots of volatility.
- Hive will continue to grow, with its price going above 0.75 USD.
- The S&P500 will crash from a new all-time high by more than 40%.
- The new US President will be neither Biden nor Trump.
- One of the big banks in Europe will go down (wiki_list).
- Putin, Erdogan, or Xi Jinping will die.
- England will win the UEFA Euro 2024 (soccer).
Review of my goals for 2023:
- 300,000 Hive Power - I downsized somewhat, but aim further to reach that goal.
- At least 52 posts - check
- 2'000 Followers - still not there yet.
- Distribute 25'000 upvotes - Check.
My goal is to continue to grow on and with Hive, both in terms of engagement and accumulating Hive Power. Let's continue to make Hive the greatest social network with the best community: kind, bright, responsible, creative, mutually supportive, while fostering an open culture of discussion and embracing our differences.

Deine ersten beiden 24er Prognosen gehe ich 100% mit und ich hoffe, du hast auch mit der 4 recht. Bei 3 bin ich allerdings optimistischer.

I have one question!
Currently, there are claims in East Asia that the European economy will collapse as the German economy collapses.
Some argue that Europe's economy will collapse and become weaker than Asia's.
Chinese people are claiming that China will dominate Europe economically.
What do you think about it?
I agree that the German economy is in an early stage of collapse, and Europe will probably suffer in the years to come.
I don't know enough about Asia overall, but expect some countries to outperform Europe, e.g. Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia.
But regarding China I think it will experience a collapse way worse than Germany. As China is very much centralized, it is incapable of adjusting its economy in a crisis. With that comes the risk of political turmoil.

A very interesting prediction!
If this prediction succeeds in 3-fold size, almost the entire planet will be delighted.
But not to forget the real evil guys and puppet players, e. g. Soros, Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Gates etc.!
Do you really think that the Rockefellers or the Rothschilds have so much power? Their wealth has been distributed over many family members and /or squandered. These family members have different goals and are not really able to direct the world.
And Soros and Gates are 2 billionaires with certain political goals, but with limited power.
The questions is, how much power one guy or a clan, group, foundation, asset management etc. has. Every power is limited, but if only some of the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Soros and Blackrock work together than they very likely can rule at least the Western countries.
I think that's unlikely, much more likely they have more than 95 % of their wealth in trusts and foundations in the very long term and across generations and without the power of disposal of individuals.
And you know about the influence of the Gates Foundation on the WHO, as only one example? And you are also aware of the enormous and extremely harmful and dangerous influence of the WHO worldwide, which has become abundantly clear, especially in the highly criminal coronavirus era?
Some of that wealth may be in trusts/foundations but those are run by different people with different goals/agendas. There is not one agenda that can rule the world. Not even "powerful" clubs like the WEF have real power, in order to shape the world to their members' view. There are thousand of different and opposing views. These people just sit together, eat expensive meals, drink expensive wines, and feel utterly important.
The WHO is an awful organization with a very bad track record, but China's influence on it is far more dangerous than Gates'.

You made some nice forecast in 2023 and it some came through. I am also strongly believe that 2024 will be a year for hive and bitcoin
