Zingtober - Scarecrow

Hi guys! Welcome to my latest entry for Holozing's Inktober.I finished this art last night after several days of drawing, but I got too sleepy, so I wasn’t able to post it.

The prompt I used was "Scarecrow." At first, I thought of making a character into a scarecrow, but I couldn't figure out how to draw it, so I decided to draw a scarecrow that scares one of our cute characters instead.

I thought of giving the artwork an ant’s view, meaning the point of view is from below.

I started the drawing with a rough sketch, and from there, I gradually added more details bit by bit.
I created the outline on a single layer, so it looks like there are fewer steps.

By the way, the brushes I used for this artwork were a rough brush and a charcoal brush.

The style I applied involved darkening parts that I felt needed shadow using black. For areas with lighter shades, I created a new layer and lowered the opacity to lighten the color and make it appear gray.

I also added clouds in the background to fill the space and put in some grass as well.

This is my finished artwork, and I hope you like it!
