Hello everyone! AHONEX, short for Auction House ONline EXchange is a platform to bid on Splinterlands assets launched by co-founder @aggroed. Bidding in auctions is thrilling by itself as you chase great deals. I usually go to the in-game market or peakmonsters when I want to look for good deals on cards. Recently, I bought nine BCX of the archon Kavor Skarn on the in-game market. For rarer cards, it may be more lucrative to bid on AHONEX where great deals on ultra-rare cards maybe found.

Bidding on AHONEX

On the AHONEX site, there is button to Browse Auctions.

Here we can see which cards are put up for bidding.

Here, I see my one of my favorite cards when I started playing Splinterlands: Kron the Undying. This is legendary card with three magic attack and has Healing ability. Paired with the Llama archon and he's very hard to kill. At the moment, the last bid price is 100.006 DEC. I'll place my bid though I expect that I will be outbid in a few hours.

I clicked on Kron the Undying and the below panel is shown. My bid is automatically placed at 100.008, a tiny bit higher than the current bid. I can edit this to a higher amount but I'll use this instead since this is my first time to bid.

I clicked "Place Bid" and confirmed the transaction via my Hive Keychain. As you can see, I'm now the highest bidder of the card. I don't expect to win since I'm sure there will be a lot of bidders that will compete for this valuable card.
