My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 220 - Sunny Taro Reflections - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, May 23, 2025

Warm greetings fellow reflection Hunters! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Well, I had intended to publish this post last night, but by the time I got done my other Hive activities, I was too sleepy, so I decided to just do it in the morning. For my entry in Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 220, I'd like to share some quite lovely photos that I took yesterday afternoon, of the play of light and shadows on the leaves of some giant taro, reflected in my trusty portable mirror. This is a two-for-one deal for those that love shadows as much as I do too!

Giant taro have positively huge leaves, and with how thin they are, sunlight passes through them very easily, which is often a stunning display, and it gets even more interesting when we toss reflections into the mix as well. I love the visual effect that I was able to capture in the first and second shots, and I hope that y'all appreciate them as much as I did when I took them! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
